On this yacht, the natural teak completely failed due to lack of maintenance. The owner hired us to remove the old teak and install a new artificial teak PlasDECK.

After removing the old teak, we cut the entire platform, sanded the surface and coated it with primer. Since the teak is located in a recessed part on the platform, we first glued it with a vacuum technique to a 6mm waterproof plywood and then glued it all together on the aft platform. With waterproof plywood, we got the height of the teak.
